<We've finally reached an island..!> The zigzagoon circled its trainer a few times, waiting for something to happen. That is, if something was going to happen.
"Indeed we have. But watch out, there might be someone else already here." Warned Nyx, who eyed her surroundings cautiously.
<Let's go explore!> Called Icey, who soon after sighed. <Too bad I can't fly yet. Otherwise I'd go and check out the island from the sky!> She looked up in a very dreamily way. Now. If only she knew she wasn't going to grow any wings!
"Err.. yeah. Anyways, how about we look around right now? Maybe we can find somewhere to stay or some food." Let's hope we don't find anything other then that! She added silently while thinking of all the things that could happen. At worst, they'd meet some not-so-friendly kind of Pokemon.
<We'll leave ya behind!> Interrupted with her thoughts by Smidge's call, she looked to see that they were running into the forest/jungle.
They saw nothing for a while, it was silent and neither pokemon or trainer spoke. <Eeeekkkkkk!!> Squealed Icey and it was echoed by Smidge.
"What happened? What's wrong? Did you see someone?" Asked Nyx glancing around nervously. Her eyes fell upon a pokeball and she picked it up quickly. "Is this what scared you two?"
<Well, you see, there was this big scary monster and it like popped up out of like no where, ya know? And like it said it'll eat me and it had big eyes that were red.> Chatted Smidge. The more she spoke the less believable it was.
She released the Pokemon from it's ball and waited, tense.
Both Pokemon that accompanied her shrieked and ran behind a bush.
It was big and blue and had a big mouth. Very scary looking too. Then, the pokemon began howling.
Nyx covered her ears, not that it helped much and shut her eyes. Then all the sound stopped. Slowly an eye was opened then the other. She giggled. It was dancing! That was absurd! A dancing pokemon, have you ever heard of that?
<My name is Exxxxxxplode!>
".. Hi Explode?"
<I like dancing! I'm cool looking! And did I mention I like dancing?>
"Uh. Sure. Return Explode," The Exploud went back into it's pokeball. "Well. That was interesting, eh?"
<That was scary. IT was big.>
"His name is Explode."
<Scary too.>
Nyx rolled her eyes. "Let's continue, okay? Okay."

Muffled noises came from a nearby bush. The bush shook some more, making it all the more noticeable. A human hand reached weakly out of the leaves. "Help...me..." said the faint voice of a human female. The pale hand grabbed at the sand, holding onto it. It shrunk backwards as the person attempted to pull herself forward.
Eventually, the lady managed to scoot herself out from behind the bush, but immediately after coming into view, she fainted, a soft smile on her face.
She had on a pink and white dress which was stained to a sort of grey-brown- a nurses outfit. Long matted pink hair fell to either side of her face.
A Chansey waddled out from behind the very same bush. It gave a sad look to the fallen nurse, then noticed Nyx. The pokemon glared evilly at the trainer and her pokemon.

Not having even taken two steps the girl stopped and stared. Her pokemon, a zigzagoon bumped into her feet.
<Huh? Why'd we stop?> Smidge trotted around the trainer and screamed. <A GHOST!!!!> She began wailing and this was echoed by Icey. <That pinky blobby thing is going to eat us!!!!>
<We're dooooooomed!!!>
"Quiet down you two!" Nyx exclaimed, almost tripping over the two as she walked forward towards the fallen lady.
<If you go, I suppose I have to go.> Sighed Smidge for the wailing was just one of her annoying dramatic acts.
<Me too. But I don't want to go near that.. that other pokemon.> Murmured Icey.

The Chansey smiled at Icey, an intimidating, toothless grin that suggested it would take a bite out of the pokemon if only it had the means to. Then, the pink blob smiled sweetly at Natey, as if to say- I'm an innocent little healing pokemon.
Nurse Joy did nothing. As stated before, she was completely unconscious.

Icey twitched and muttered uneasily. <Err. How about while you go check on that lady, I um. Stay over here? Okay?>
<Me too.> Added Smidge who had seen the Chansey look very evilly at her friend. <Ya know, if you had grown your wings, we could've escaped evil, blobby, and big blobby things if they ever came along..>
"Suit yourself you two." Nyx who had only seen the Chansey smile, smiled back, then walked towards Nurse Joy.
<Be careful!>
<Don't get eaten!>
<Yeah, don't get hurt!>
<Don't fall!>
<Don't get attacked!>
".... I get the point." Nyx rolled her eyes; what was wrong with the two? She would've pondered much more but just then reached Nurse Joy. "What were you two doing out here?" A curious glance was directed towards the chansey. "If there's nobody here, we should find like a cave or somewhere to stay." I hate these kinds of situations.. I hope someone else is out there.. I seriously have not ever taken care of other people before...

In fact, I do believe that I saw a cave a while back.> The Chansey motioned in the general direction, though no cave could be seen through all of the trees, and the giant pink pokemon looked rather awkward trying to use such short and stubby arms to point. <We should get going before it gets dark.> Ironically enough, the island only seemed as dark as the sea around it had been. Whether it was night or day, it was impossible to tell at any given time.

Nyx rose an eye brow as the chansey spoke, though because it hadn't spoke at all earlier. "Okay. Let's go find it then. Everyone stay together; I don't need any of you to get lost." What if one of them did get lost? Would they ever be found a again? She shuddered at the thoughts and began to walk towards where the chansey had remembered seeing a cave.
<What if I do get lost though??> Asked the zigzagoon who followed but kept, or tried to, away from the chansey.
<And what if I get eaten?> Asked Icey who followed Smidge closely.
The two had vast imaginations, which at times could be very annoying. "Yes indeed. 'What if'." She said sarcastically. "I'd rather not play the 'what if' game right now. And um. I didn't ask earlier. What's your name? Mine is Nyx and this is Smidge and that is Icey."

Up ahead, a cave came into view. It was your stereotypical kind, with vines and ferns around it, but completely dark inside. The calls of Zubat could be heard even from where they stood. A methodical thud, thud, thud, could be noticed, though it was unclear whether it was coming from the cave or somewhere else along the strange island.

For the moment Nyx ignored the sound; currently getting herself and Nurse Joy to the cave was her her first priority. And then hearing the Zubat she released Exploud from his pokeball. "Now, I seriously hope we'll not meet anybody or anything during our stay." She muttered to herself.
<I'll go in first!> Volunteered Smidge.
<I'll come with you then!> Icey told her friend, and without waiting for an answer the two pokemon ran in.
"Hey! .. Oh nevermind. They can go in and explore for a bit."
<And if they don't come out?> Asked Exploud who was dancing his way towards the cave.
"Then we'll go find them." She said confidently, though she felt quite worried about them. They could get into any trouble! And they had to deal with Nurse Joy too. Something like that happening would just add more to their troubles.

The cave was exactly as one would expect it. Zubats lined the ceiling, harsh calls escaping from those who noticed the group. <Go! Away with you! Be gone!> they called, unused to anyone or anything invading their space. The Chansey followed Nyx's two pokemon, hesitating and a bit worried. The thud, thud sound faded into the background, though the Chansey made a mental note of it. <We just need a place to rest!> she called, hoping to the Zubats would be understanding. This was not to be, the Zubats trying to confuse the intruders with supersonic. <What do we do?> asked Fluffy, looking semi-angrily at Icey and Smidge. After all, they had decided to loudly enter the cave and disturb the Zubats. It was all their fault! The Chansey easily convinced herself of this.
